Jimmy Dean. Hillshire Farms link. Johnsonville.

Honestly, the only sausages I've seen that haven't been gluten-free have the gluten clearly listed. You should still check, but amazingly enough, most sausage is safe.

i keep seeing "spices" and/or "natural flovors" on the labels.

I eat Jimmy Dean sausage all the time.

Not sure if you meant breakfast type sausage or dinner sausage, but for the latter I use Premio. It was my favorite brand before being diagnosed so I was happy to learn it was gluten-free.

Every single sausage I've specifically checked, the spices and natural flavors have been gluten-free. And before too long it will have to be clearly listed if there's wheat.

there is a link sausage i like - aidelles. I keep finding it in the meat section. It says gluten free right on the front of the label. There are one or two flavors that are not gluten free - but just look on the front of the label. I love the Cajun Andoille, i had an apple flavor one and also and artichoke and garlic. All very very good. makes a quick dinner with some rice.

She used to take supplements, but her abdominal pain is so debilitating that she hasn't been able to continue.  Her primary care team has been suggesting liquid supplements rather than pill form to help.  They just drew a lot of blood Friday and we are slowly getting all that work back.  I will definitely check into thiamine!  Thanks!

They have not done that yet.   We are looking at some other treatments to help. And you are correct.  The tickborne illness has been a wild ride.  Our whole family has been battling different tickborne illnesses.  Its expensive and exhausting.

I cannot tolerate it at all - triggers burning and nausea, ditto aspirin.  Here in the UK I take Paracetamol.

For back pain, I take a combination of Cobalamine B12, Pyridoxine B 6, and Thiamine B 1 (in the form Benfotiamine), which have an analgesic effect.  These three B vitamins together work way better than those over the counter pain relievers.  Theses are water soluble B vitamins that are easily excreted via the kidneys if not needed.  Thiamine will also help the nausea.
