I'm not sure if this is old news on this website, but I just discovered a list on Lays website that lists all their gluten free products.

Hi Smith, If you do have a reaction, it would be from the cross contamination. They produce the gluten-free chips on the same lines with the non-gluten-free ones. Some people are very sensitive to it, but others do fine. We personally do eat some the Lay's gluten-free (and dairy free) products, but others here don't. I'm glad you are enjoying your Cheetos!

I was told that they produce all the gluten-free food first on the machines, and later in the day do all the products with gluten. Then at the end of everyday all the machines are washed. i hope it's right

the only thing I'm confused about is that they also have an MSG-free listing, and some of the gluten-free products aren't on that list. doesn't MSG always have gluten??

MSG does not contain gluten. But it does cause a reaction in people who are sensitive to MSG. I try to avoid it as much as possible, since it always makes me feel weird. But it doesn't give me a gluten reaction.

      Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

      What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.
