I went to the local health food store today, and to my delight they had a lot more gluten free products than before. :D So I start to look around and read labels (to check for dairy) and I was looking at all this bread and pasta and pizza crusts and cookies... and I couldn't really think of when to eat it! I don't eat cereal because I don't know what I would eat it with (no soy, no dairy, don't like the substitutes like rice milk, too watery), I usually cook vegetables with a bit of meat/fish, I don't add pasta or rice to my meals anymore. They had Tinkyada and I thought of buying some because some many people here like it, but I don't know when I would actually eat it. :) I only eat a few rice crackers in the morning, that's all the grains I eat all day.

I guess if I did come across a really yummy cream cake type dessert that was gluten/dairy/soy/legume free that I would be pleased. But other than that I don't seem to have any need for gluten free products. I ended up buying a small package of sweet rolls, I guess I'll have them for breakfast one of these days for old times sake. Thing is, I LIKE rice cakes.

I just thought it was funny that my emotional response to this really quite big assortiment of gluten free foods was pretty much the same as if it had been a pile of cabbage. :D:D:D Like, I guess I could eat that one day if I didn't have anything better in the fridge...

Ah--your post made me smile :) . I have been having the same reaction in stores, lately. Mine are because I am becoming sensitive to so many other things besides gluten, that all of the newfound variety is great, but I end up buying the same meats, produce, and a few other things. Luckily, I like those things and despite the sensitivites, I do eat very well without all the "extras".

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
