My trip to Cebu Philippians and solution for Gluten Free Foods

Greetings to all

Recently, I visited Cebu City in the Philippines; I had already researched gluten-free food issues in the city. There was an advertisement in the newspaper introducing eight different gluten-free restaurants in the city, While I was preparing my trip I contacted them. . A few of these restaurants have never heard of gluten-free foods or celiac disease. One of them asked if I was vegetarian. When I asked why your ad says like that, the answer was that we have no idea who advertised. My research didn't start well. In Manila, the capital of PH, I found a distributor of gluten-free food ingredients. Their prices were significantly higher than Canada, and delivery was extra expenses. As there was no gluten-free food restaurant in the city, I prepared ingredients for the food I would cook for myself.

Finally I was in the city; in PH, most of the stores sell home-made food. If you can eat it, the food is usually delicious and the price is very low. With each store, I discussed a suggestion I had. With my ingredients, they could cook the same foods for me. I finally found a store that two ladies are managing to cook daily for me, I told them I would pay triple the price of other foods, but they told me not to worry, it's a new experience for them too.

My food was ready on time the next day, and I have not experienced such great food in a very long time. Whenever I went to the store before noon, food for lunch and dinner was ready for me the same day to take it out. I usually paid $10 or $15 in PH currency. A few days later, I asked the sisters, the store owners, why you don't make a serious business out of gluten-free foods? Over half a million tourists visit the same city every year. They created their own Instagram account at:

Our support for these good sisters' new business is well deserved.

Thank you all very much

Thank you for sharing this, I've always wanted to go there. It is strange that these companies advertised being gluten-free, then had no idea what you were talking about...I wonder how that happened?

Dear Scott,  please check the link https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT05574010?intr=KAN-101&rank=1 What do you think about it?

KAN‑101 is still very much in development and being actively studied. It has not been dropped—rather, it is advancing through Phases 1 and 2, moving toward what could become the first disease‑modifying treatment for celiac disease. https://anokion.com/press_releases/anokion-announces-positive-symptom-data-from-its-phase-2-trial-evaluating-kan-101-for-the-treatment-of-celiac-disease/

Thiamine interacts with all the other B vitamins.  Thiamine and B 6 make a very important enzyme together. With more thiamine and other vitamins available from the supplements your body is absorbing the ones you need more of.  The body can control which vitamins to absorb or not.  You're absorbing more and it's being transported through the blood.   It's common to have both a Thiamine and a Pyridoxine deficiency.  Keep taking the B Complex. This is why it's best to stop taking supplements for six to eight weeks before testing vitamin levels.

Yes I took a supplement that had B6 in it, low dosage though. I've stopped taking that. B1 doesn't affect other B vitamin levels?

Have you tried lip balm made from tallow?  It's been used for thousands of years and works better than those with waxes. I prefer Vintage Traditions brand tallow balm products.
