Hi I'm new to this and have seen a lot of people suggestion to use gluten free bathroom products (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothpaste...). What brands do you recommend? Right now I have crest toothpaste or trader joes natural toothpaste(but i dont like the taste of the natural one so i usually use crest)

Hi--welcome to the board!

For toothpaste, I use Crest, which is gluten free, as is Colgate.

For shampoo, I alternate between Dove (which will clearly list any gluten ingredients) and Garnier Fructis (which is gluten free). I use Garnier for hairspray, too. Neutrogena also will send you a list of gluten free products, and I've used their shampoos in the past, too.

For face and hand lotion, I use Dove and Neutrogena, but read the face lotions for Dove carefully, as some contain oats.

For makeup, I use Bare Escentuals, as all of their makeup is gluten free.

Hope this helps, and if you have any questions, feel free to email me!

For toothpaste I use Colgate usually, but thats because they've got the flavoured ones :P

For shampoo, I use Clinaderm. I am not sure tho if its available in the U.S. Its got absolutely NOT possible things that could irrate skin (no formaldahyde, no protein, for perfume, and a few other things not in it). It even helps with dandruff and dry skin. And can be used daily. And since I have DH on my head, its very helpful.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
