I guess no one takes these vitamins, it says they are free of the common allergens wheat, corn, soy, yeast and milk.. so I was just wondering if anyone knew.

Sorry, don't know about this brand, but see my thread about Nature Made-- a cautionary tale! If you can't believe vitamin labels, what the heck CAN you believe???

I think that Centrum is ok, but I take Oil of Olay and I like it alot. Sorry for the lack of reply, but I've been kinda busy lately.

Some of Nature's Plus have gluten, like the Source of Life, which has barley grass. I guess that can be considered to not have gluten to some people, but they were making me sick. I've taken others of theirs and been fine.

Right now I'm taking Wild Oats brand for women, they're gluten-free.

Thanks for the help did your bottle say free of wheat because mine do, and I know thats not the same but I have been havin stomach trouble off and on and I think it may be from the vitamins and I just took one so il probably be sick in the morning

I don't remember if the bottle said free of wheat or not, but I do remember it had barley grass, which was clearly listed as an ingredient.

I had another vitamin, but don't remember the brand, in fact, maybe it was the Nature's Plus, it's been a couple months since it happened ... I was sick and found three different vitamins I was taking had gluten so I might be getting them mixed up ... anyway, they had "malt diastase" and that was the problem.

I put on over 12kg by eating protein with every meal, 3 to 5 times a day. Eggs, Chicken, Tuna, Turkey etc. I stay away from too much red meat as it can be inflammatory. Scott is correct. I've come across a bunch of Coeliac PT's on Tiktok and Instagram. They all say the same thing, the key is getting enough protein and consistency.

It's great to hear that eliminating gluten has helped alleviate symptoms like eye burning, which is a significant and positive change. The first and most important step is to ensure you're consuming enough protein throughout the day to support muscle repair and growth, which can be challenging with a busy schedule. Since you're already physically active at work, adding focused strength training just 2-3 times per week can make a major difference. Bodyweight exercises like squats, push-ups (modified if needed), and lunges, or using resistance bands at home, are excellent, efficient places to start. Remember, consistency with these short sessions and prioritizing post-workout recovery, including good sleep and hydration, are just as crucial as the workouts themselves. It's a smart, gradual process at any age.

Trader Joe's carries a good variety of affordable gluten-free foods like bagels, hamburger buns, pasta, etc. I like Franz Gluten Free bread, which is available at my local Costco. Food For Life and Little Northern Bakehouse (advertisers here) also make excellent gluten-free breads. Costco also sells gluten-free pizzas, crackers, gravy, etc.
