Hi,

I'm brand new today, both with trying to talk on a forum and being diagnosed with celiac. I don't have a clue how to do this. I'm not even sure if this will post. I tried to send one before and it didn't work. Can anyone walk me through this? I'd sure appreciate it.

Hi there and welcome! Well, congrats, your post posted just fine! B) There is a lot of wonderful info. to be found on this site and great emotional and informative support here on the forums. :)

It will take a while to learn the "rules" you must follow with this diagnosis, but once you get the hang of it, it will seem natural to buy and eat gluten free foods.

Blanchemae,

To reply to a post using quotes click on the "reply button under the post you wish to respond to. This is what you did with your last post...you would then type your response under the quoted text. If you don't want any quotes in your reply scroll to the bottom of all the posts and click add reply. You can then type your response without having any quotes in your post.

Rachel: Thanks! Your answer to Blanchemae also solved the problem for me. Now I know how to quote! YEA!!! :D:D:D

Now, suppose I wanted to quote and answer just one paragraph in a long post. How do I do that? And how would I quote and answer paragraph 1, then skip down and quote and answer paragraph 5?

Am I making sense? :huh:

Hi Cissie--

To quote a portion of a post, hit "reply" in the lower right corner of the post you wish to reply to. The entire post will appear in the box--just delete all text you don't want in the reply, then reply underneath as usual. :)

      New labs are now very elevated

      Hello, I was very stick, with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel. Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change? What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?...

      I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
