I emailed Dole asking just that question. I have not heard back yet. I will post it when I do.

The ingredients include "Modified Food Starch" which is GENERALLY made form Corn or Maize in US, but it CAN be from Barley. So, I've emailed. I ate one before I noticed it - it was good. No reaction, but I won't eat another until I hear back.

Last I heard the apple caramel flavor was NOT gluten-free.

I'm frustrated with Dole. I also emailed them last Wednesday and have not heard back. I"ve tried calling them several times but got tired of being on hold for a VERY long time each time. It's the "natural flavoring" ingredient I"m concerned about.

Finally heard back from Dole (emai) who said the pineapple & cream parfait and peaches & cream are gluten-free, but the apple & carmel is not.

And that's the one I ate!

I have a few DH blisters and I couldn't figure out why.....

I also ate a whole thing of Mentos mints - I was in a hurry for a breath mint for a meeting, couldn't find TIC TAC's at the CVS I was at, and grabbed Mentos - not thinking - I read the label and LOW AND BEHOLD the 2nd ingredient is "WHEAT GLUCOSE SYRUP"!!!!!!!!!! (what in the world is that?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

So those two items are the source of my glutening!

I recently bought some of these and my ingredients list glucose syrup but not wheat glucose syrup, which if it were from wheat and not from corn the law states wheat must be shown if that's what the syrup is derived from.

Why would the apple not be gluten free? the ingredients are basically the same minus the fruit??

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
