OK well I havent had this symptom of Celiac is quite a while now, but I am assuming the contamination, etc from harvesting is causing my allergies/Celiac to flair up...

But...I just typed out notes for homework until 4:30 am, it is now 5:15 am and guess what: still wide awake!!

What do you guys do to help this situations like this???

Guest nini

what do I do when insomnia hits? sit at the computer and spend hours on the message boards here at Celiac.com!

lol...

I know it's not funny, but hey, you do what you can... I wish I had a solution for you.

I usually toss and turn with irritation, thinking of how I have to get up at dawn with my kids, and everything I have to do that day on two hours of sleep! Argh....seriously though look into maybe an otc sleeping pill those help me sometimes.

Play cpu games, read books, do homework, clean the house...

I also hope you are able to sleep tonight when you go to bed!

You know, I am really having a hard time sleeping too. The last two nights have been really bad I'm okay getting to sleep, but then I wake up about 3 or 4 times, not sleeping in between. Then I have one big wide awake time from like 4:30 to 6, and I get up at 6:30. So, whats better laying there tossing and turning or just throw in the towell get up and do something? Thank god for lattes... <_<

I know TONIGHT I SHOULD sleep good...went on maybe 3 hours of sleep like I said (from 6:30 - 10 am, a lot of wake times in between)...survived school somehow from 3 - 10 pm, but then I tried to do some homework and I'm much too out of it to even find the answers in the book or understand what the questions are asking!!

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
