Found A Great Gluten Free Company!

I found a great company that makes seasoning packets for meals and/or dips. They are called Cali Fine Foods (www.califinefoods.com). They make seasonings that say they are for "dips, maridandes, meats, vegatables, pasta, rice and more"....gluten free, casein free, yeast free, no msg...etc. I had corresponded with the owner, Judy, who has a Celiac son...so she is very understanding of our "issues." They have a "garlic gusto", "sweet and spicy bbq mix" "herb medley" "spicy fiesta" and dill delight.

(by the way,i can no longer eat this brand because of other food intolerances...particularly corn....but still wanted to share).

Thought I would pass along this info for those who are interested.

Like I mentioned, I didn't get to try them---but I was so sad! I was really impressed with her knowledge of her ingredients and her willingness to help. As a mother to a Celiac son, she really understands! Based on my contact with her...I think she is worth supporting!

I'd be interested to hear how they are....hope yall enjoy!

      Thanks for your assistance.

Get your total IGA checked to make sure your celiac antibody test scores are trustworthy.

I do eat 4 slices of wheat bread with almond butter. Yes it was a reference to my iron consumption.

To give you a frame of reference for pretesting gluten consumption necessary to ensure valid antibody testing, here is the current recommendation for those who have been on a gluten free diet: The daily consumption of at least 10g of gluten (about the amount in 4-6 slices of wheat bread) for at least two weeks. Not sure why you mentioned eggs and chicken. They are not sources of gluten. Was that in reference to dietary iron consumption?

Thanks for your insight. I've been eating wheat bread at least 5 times a week for several months. I've been eating chicken or eggs 5 days a week for at least a year.
