We are in essex county. Do you know any restaurants or places to go. We know of Outback, Fresh City, Legal Seafoods and the places in Bergen County. Our daughter is gluten intolerant -- do you know of any kids around here with celiac?

We do not go to restaurants..too much risk.

I don't have children so I don't know about groups....there might be a ROCK group in Livingston area.

If can, call the Celic Sprue Assn at 877-CSA-4CSA. Ask them about Raising Our Celiac Children in your area; as far as I know, there are no support groups for adults in our area ( I am in northern Union County). There used to be one in Morris County and they disbanded; there's one in the New Brunswick area and to get there for 7 PM is a haul during rush hour, if you know what I mean. I know the CSA is looking for someone to start a group in the Essex/Union county area; I'd love to do it, but I do not have the room in my apartment for a grouping of people to meet as I am living in basically two rooms. My place always looks like a "jumble sale."

I'm in Warren County and I'm pretty new to the area. Any good gluten-free places around here (I know of a few, but I'm always looking for more)

A new group just formed in Morristown (Open Original Shared Link) Not sure how far that is for everyone.

There is also one up in Bergen County (Open Original Shared Link).

Thanks for the list too makes me realise why I still get symptoms after cutting gluten , all that reading has just made sense to why I'm still struggling , thankyou Scott Adams very insightful , I've been baking to and there is xanthum gum in the flour , I understand now why I still have issues with that too, and ive had to cut dairy also , i had a terrible flare few months ago and my throat also was very irritable and I had sinuses issues all makes sence 👍
