I everyone. I just ran into this site: Open Original Shared Link

I have yet to explore it, but it looks like a good place to get gluten-free recipes and all sorts of other gluten-free related info/news.

I just took a closer look, and it seems a subscription is required, which is NOT free :(

I tried it for a year, and it's okay - it does have a good archive of gluten-free recipes, but nothing that you couldn't find for free on other sites. New stuff every month, but I didn't renew it. There was a previous thread on this magazine, and there were people who loved it, so you could search and see what they said.

I found that page a couple of days ago too. Looks good but I am not sure I wanna pay for it right now. I am trying to figure out the cookbooks I have gotten first. :P

It looks like a nice page though.

      Shingles - Could It Be Related to Gluten/ Celiac

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oh my......will the danger never end? It has seemed like no matter what we do or have done the odds were/are against us. Next they'll tell us that just looking at wheat will be dangerous. Oh well....hang in there.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute.
