For the record, noone on this thread even contributed ..... and I read the lovely comments as well...

I have been going through some "stuff" and my life has fallen apart a bit...

      @JettaGirl, you are what we call a "seronegative celiac". That means you have celiac disease but the IGA antibody blood tests ("sero" = blood) are negative. A small percentage of celiacs are in this class. If you were to be tested for IGG antibodies it might show positive. Were you tested for IGA ("total IGA") deficiency?

      This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

      I was 27 in 2007 when lab tests didn’t pick up Celiac disease. An endoscopic biopsy shows I have it very much so. To this day lab tests still shows I’m not. Just curious if anyone else has had the same results.

      CT with contrast.

      I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.

      This is not standard when looking for celiac disease.  Is it CT enterography? That type of CT can be used when looking for Crohn’s disease or IBD.  CT will see more of the small intestine than can be seen during an endoscopy, as well as the large intestine.

      Is it normal for you to have a CT with contrast as well as endoscopy with biopsy. When being diagnosed.
