after not being able to drink milk all my life i can now drink it again after being gluten free 5 weeks! in the past whenever i drank it (as a kid or adult) i got sick in the stomach and usually dioreah and this was the case after id been gluten free 2 weeks when i last tried it.

this time after 5 weeks gluten-free no problems at all! this is particularly useful as my bone desity was no where near what it should be for someone who is 28.

does this mean my intestines have repaired or am just on the way to repaired?

It seems that your intestines have repaired enough for you not to react to dairy any more.

Just be advised that it is a lie the dairy industry has perpetuated, that you actually get calcium from milk. It appears that rather than GIVING you calcium, it will leach it out of your body. It will weaken your bones, rather than strengthen them. We absolutely cannot absorb calcium from cows milk.

To get calcium your body can actually absorb, you need to be eating green leafy vegetables. And take a good calcium/magnesium/vitamin D supplement. And use dairy sparingly.

You are obviously healing, that is really excellent. You must be doing a good job with the gluten-free diet.

Congrats! Can you share the recipe? We just picked up a bread maker from an estate sale and are experimenting.
