Hi...your topic will go to the last page of the forum until its "pinned" by a moderator and then it will move up to the first page.

You can view all of the topics (pinned or unpinned) by clicking on "Todays active topics" which is located near the bottom of the main page. :)

I thought I would just add to this post rather than start a new one because my question is the same?

I tried to post last night and yet my post has showed up nowhere? How long does it take to be 'pinned' because I wrote the post about 18 hours ago. Does it usually take that long?

I am not nagging as I know you are all very busy people I am just asking because I am worried that I have done something wrong and perhaps I'm not posting right??

If it's just a matter of allowing a bit more time for it to be pinned then that's fine...just wanted to know!

Peta, if your post hasn't been pinned yet, then you must have done something wrong. We have enough moderators that there is no way it would take remotely as long as even ten hours, never mind 18.

Weekends are a bit slower because alot of the folks take time off to be with their families and sleep in and such ;) Not as many people on board to help.

Actually it did......she had posted it at like 2something AM and I JUST pinned it at 10pm. Peta you didn't do a thing wrong :) Sometimes things get lost in the shuffle :)

      They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

      In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

      This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

      I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.
