Redbridge Beer

AB makes a gluten free beer! Made from Sorghum. As a self-confessed beer snob, I was so excited, but so worried. I like Belgium ales, domestic microbrews, brutally hopped IPAs. What would this be like?

Not bad. Not bad at all. Tastes, smells, pours like a beer. At 8.50 a six pack, about what I'd pay for something I'd usualy drink. I'm on my second six pack (not at once!), and I havn't been sick yet, so it's kosher for me at least.

So drink up boys and girls! It's good!

So glad to hear this! I'm a beer snob as well (hence the pain and tears!) <_< I really don't like

Bard's Tale...and I'm sure someone in Boston carries Redbridge. In fact, I think some of little local liquor stores do, according to the Busch site. Excellent! Thanks for the good news!

Yes and you can boil brats in it as well :) Brats and beer so happy :)

I'm enjoying my first taste of Redbridge right now :) Yum!

It's lighter than Bard's Tale, which I also like. If I were make a comparison from memory, I'd say that Bard's Tale is similar to Sam Adam's Boston Lager, and Redbridge is similar to Yuengling. Compares favorably price-wise, too: $7.99/6 for Redbridge vs. $10.99/6 for Bard's Tale, locally. Plus, the Redbridge vendor (small beer&wine only place) actually asked me whether I liked it and to tell everyone I know about it. They had at least 6 cases stacked in the front of the store and 6-packs in the cooler. At the huge liquor warehouse where I've been getting BT, I have to remind them everytime I go to order more; they won't order more than 2 cases at a time.

I'm so NOT a beer snob; I drank a lot of Budweiser before my diagnosis. I'm sure AB stock plummetted that day  Guess I have some catching up to do (responsibly and in moderation, of course :) ).

To find Redbridge close to you, go to the website (Open Original Shared Link) and enter your zipcode. Enjoy!

I am a big fan of this beer!

Definitely more expensive than before (pre-dx) - but fairly affordable, at least here in Boston.

For those of you who used to like IPA's I think this tastes a lot like my favorite old beer - Sierra Nevada Pale Ale!

This is definitely worth a try, it's my favorite of all gluten-free beers I've tried!

I dunno. I think Redbridge has sort of a metallic aftertaste. Oh well, I'm happy we are at least starting to get options!

I agree it does have a aftertaste, I wouldn't say metallic, but definately not pleasant. It's a little strong for me (I'm used to a very light beer), but it's nice to be able to sit back and have a beer with friends.

But M&M's contain milk, and would not be at all like a Tootsie Roll.

I appreciate you validating me because medical is an issue and it's not ok at all they they do this. Some days I just want to call the news media and just call out these doctors especially when they are supposed to be specialist Downplaying when gluten-free when they should know gluten-free is false negative. Now dealing with other issues and still crickets for disability because I show no signs of celiac BECAUSE IM GLUTENFREE! Actively dealing with sibo and skin issues.Depression is the key because thats all they know, im depressed because medical has caused it because of my celiac and related issues. I should have never ever been employed as a bus driver. After 3 years still healing and ZERO income desperately trying to get better but no careteam for celiac other than stay away frim wheat! Now im having care because my head is affected either ms or meningioma in go in tomorrow again for more scans.I know im slowly dying and im looking like a disability chaser

M&M Peanuts. About the same calories and sugar while M&M Peanuts have fiber, potassium, iron and protein that Tootsie Rolls ("We are currently producing more than 50 million Tootsie Rolls each day.") don't. Click the links to compare nutritional values.  Both are made with sugar, not high fructose corn syrup.  I use them as a gluten free substitute for a peanut butter sandwich.  Try her on grass fed, pasture fed milk. While I get heartburn at night from commercial dairy milk, I do not from 'grassmilk'.

I see it everyday on my feeds.  They go out and buy gluten-free processed products and wonder why they can't heal their guts.  I don't think they take it as a serious immune disease. They pick up things off the internet which is so far out in left field.  Some days I would just like to scream.  So much better when we had support groups and being able to teach them properly. I just had an EMA blood test because I haven't had one since my Doctor moved away.  Got test results today, doctor ordered a D3 vitamin test.  Now you know what  type of doctors we have.  Now I will have to pay for this test because she just tested my D3 end of December, and still have no idea about my EMA.
