I absolutely love husky's and german shephards but they are too big for my house lol!! So I was looking up miniature husky and miniature shephard just to see what came up and I SOOOOOOOO want one of these dogs. Anyone ever heard of them before?

Oh, that looks pretty. I love dogs. Mine is a lab/german shepherd mix. I wanna get another one as soon as week can move.

I am thinking German Shepherd, but I might just go for another mutt.

I have never heard of that dog breed before. What did it say about temperament?

This is what two of the sites say about them...

"They are very good with small children and even babies. There have been reports of Klee Kai watching the baby in the house then going out to get the parent when the baby cried. There have been reports of the Alaskan Klee Kai who lived when they should have been dead."

"Despite his small size, the Klee Kai is an excellent watchdog due to his loyalty and affection for his family members and his reservation toward strangers and unfamiliar situations."

Man if they weren't so darn rare and soooooooooo darn expensive, I'd be getting one right now :(

Sounds good. Yeah, I was loking at Shilo German Shepherds before we got our dog and some places want $2000 for one. I am not paying that much for a dog. We paid $80 for our mutt and she is wounderful.

Contact the breeder. Not every dog is show quality, maybe the runt of the litter, or an older dog that is too old for puppies, or a young female born with a hernia would be a resonable price and a good breeder would want a loving home.

I actually did a write up about these dogs for my "rare dog" section of the Kennel Club newsletter about a year ago. A very beautiful and interesting little dog for sure.

But yes, rare does mean expensive, although you may get a pet grade one for a bit cheaper. Maybe check into the American Eskimo if you like the northern breeds. They are not quite so rare, so may be a bit more to a budget. They were used in the years gone by as Cirucus dogs because they train so easily. You'll want the minature of the breed. (There are three sizes), standard, Min. and toy. Super obedience and agility dogs, as well as flyball or any other game you want to play with them.

If you want the write up that I did, send me an email addy and I'll try and find where I filed it in this computer.

LOL I know I saw them and fell in love!! I really want one, but I usually rescue pets and have actually had really bad luck buying them :(!! I'd even take a mixed one as long as it had mostly AKK traits!!

Oh man I've found a breader that's actually only a few hours away, but she hasn't had a litter yet, so if her dog is pregnant that will be their first breading litter. I'm kind of hoping since it will be the first litter that maybe they'll be cheaper. Wishful thinking anyways lol!!

Cold/flu or gluten poisoning? Hello. I've had another similar episode. I find it very difficult to differentiate between the symptoms of a cold or flu and those caused by gluten poisoning. In fact, I don't know if my current worsening is due to having eaten something that disagreed with me or if the cold I have has caused my body, which is hypersensitive, to produce symptoms similar to those of gluten poisoning.

I'm no longer dealing with constipation. I got my liver test last month and it was in normal range. Two years ago I did have a vitamin D deficiency but I'm know taking vitamin D3 pills. Last month I got my vitamin D checked and it was in normal range. I don't believe I've had my choline checked. However, I do drink almond milk eat Greek yogurt on a daily basis.

Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity (NCGS) can be associated with low ferritin and iron deficiency. Once Celiac Disease (1% of the population affected) has been ruled out by tests the next step is to check for Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity (10% of the population affected) by eliminating gluten for a trial period, then re-introduce Gluten Challange. Have you been supplementing Iron? How are your liver enzymes? Low levels of ferritin indicate iron deficiency, while  59% transferrin saturation indicates high iron levels.  Possibly indicating Fatty Liver Disease.  Choline is crucial for liver health, and deficiency is a known trigger for Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver.  Some experts say that less than 10% eat the the Food and Nutrition Board established Adequate Intake that are based on the prevention of liver damage. Severe constipation and hemorrhoids may be linked to a bile or choline deficiency.  "Ninety-five percent of phospholipids (PLs) in bile is secreted as phosphatidylcholine or lecithin."  Fatty acid composition of phospholipids in bile in man   Deficiency of these bile salts causes the bile to get thick. Some people with Celiac Disease are misdiagnosed with Gall Bladder bile issues.  Removal of the gallbladder provides only temporary relief. Whether or not celiac disease or NCGS are your issues you need to look at your vitamin D blood level.

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.
