Son diagnosed with Coeliac Disease Oct 2006 by biopsy (at age 13yrs)

Oh just for completeness the biopsy report:


STOMACH: Antral mucosa with chronic gastritis with increased lamina propria and intraepithelial eosinphils; negative for helicobacter pylori (see comment)


COMMENT: An allergic etiology for his injury pattern should be considered.

I hope your son continues to do well. Being free of oats should be a lot easier than being free of gluten! Please keep us updated on your son's progress. It is so nice to hear about kids getting better after watching my son go from sickness to being able to thrive and grow like crazy!


Son 6 yrs old, Positive blood work, Outstanding dietary response, no biopsy.

Household mostly gluten free since 3/07

Me: HLA-DQ 02 & 0302 (DQ 08), which I ran & analyzed myself!Currently gluten lite, negative tTG, asymptomatic
