I would really like to say it is 2:30 am  and I would really like to go home, go to bed and snuggle with my husband and snore  . I am currantly in the nursery at work (in the hospital) and too many babies just won't settle down they are giving me a headache.

Ya! I know quite being a crybaby myself :lol:

But my bed is really calling me right now

Awww,- are they just newborns or are you in a special care unit for preemies?? (LOVE, LOVE new babies!!)

little d Enthusiast

these babie are newborn well babies, and also we have transtional babies who are not sick enough to go to the NICU but well enough to stay here in the nusery but in a differnat room. the only reason why i have any babies at the moment is because their moms want sleep. but i can totally relate becuase i was one of those mom 7 yrs ago. but i still didn't get sleep while in the hostiptal so i told the staff just leave her. Later babies are still crying

Oh gosh, yes! I remember that!!

All my babies went in the nursery at night so I could sleep - but the funny thing was I would wake up hearing a baby crying and just KNOW it was mine.

Admittedly having lots of crying babies to deal with would be trying!!!

Tell me about it. I have 2 babies in here that can't settle down very well. but i cant blame one of the them because he has a terrible bruise on his head and breastfeeding all the time and then i have another 2 who wants to spit all the time that is enough to make anyone want to go home which thankfully I only have 2hours to go and counting.

Do you believe in the cycles of the moon. May 07 is a bluemoon month and it has been trying everywhere. I am betting things will start to calm down in a week or so. I can always tell when it is a few days before the full moon, just by the behavior of people. The full moon is on Thursday the 31st--things should calm after that.

I totally believe in the full moon that is when we are the crazy busy and that is when we get all the crankist babies and also if you can believe the weirdest names as well as first of babies and last names. usually the babies are eighter over 8lbs or under 6lbs. it really goes in cycles as well

Oh by the way the little girl in your picture is she your daughter or your niece, she looks alot like one of my daughters friend here in texas Baylee L

the little girl in your picture is she your daughter or your niece :D Thank you, she is my granddaughter, Brooklyn. She was 6 at the time and will be 9 next month. In that pic, I think she has many of my features, which would make her mom crazy! ;) I have 7 grandchildren now, Scott 9, Angel 5, Taylor 9, Harley 3, Brooklyn 8, Colin 7, and the little guy, Ethin 7 months. All beautiful!!!

I work in a doctor's office and I can tell the full moon is almost here just by the behavior of the patients. I then look at the calendar so see when the full moon appears and I am always correct.

Brooklyn is beutiful, My daughter is 7 will be 8 in Aug and we probly wont have any more because im 36 and I think that is too old for me to have another at this point, but if it happens then God will give me what he wants us to have. But yes right now i think that the soon to be full moon is affecting my husband as far as the "Dirty Laundry " goes. Along with what happens with the Ladies in Labor and Delivery..

Yah!! relief is here

I get this in insurance business too. There are times when just everybody is calling about the smallest things. Not so much on my end, but the homeowners dept. goes crazy....especially when weather is bad it appears that people are home and bored and have taken to either reading their insurance policies or are grousing about the increase in the premium. If I were home the last thing I'd do would be to read my insurance policy ;)

All my kids were born on a full moon lol. So everytime i would go have an bb there was like 4-5 other moms having a bb. we are a small town so not alot babies in a given day, but when its a full moon the place is full.

My genetic test results have arrived - I’m homozygous for DQB1*02, meaning I have HLA-DQ2. I’ve read that this is one of the genes most strongly associated with celiac disease, and my symptoms are very clear. I’m relieved that the results finally arrived, as I was getting quite worried since my symptoms have been getting worse. Next step, blood test. What do these results imply? What should I tell my family? I’m concerned that this genetic predisposition might also affect other family members.

So far 3 months in - worsening symptoms. I have had the worst constipation in my life and I am primarily eating naturally gluten-free foods like potatoes, eggs, salad with homemade dressing, corn tortillas, etc. I hate gluten-free bread and pasta so I don't eat it. Occasionally I eat gluten-free almond flour crackers. As stated in the post, I don't have any vitamin deficiency. I was already tested.

Talk to your  Talk to your provider about testing for vitamin and mineral deficiency.  celiac disease causes malabsorption and eventually malnutrition.  Especially vitamin D. Having the gallbladder removed seems to be a common step on the way to a Celiac Disease Diagnosis,  Gallbladder is a sympton of deficient Choline. Eggs and red meat are the primary source..Choline makes up a majority of the bile salts.  The bile gets thick, doesn't get enough into intestine to digest fats well.  Can eventually back up into gallbladder, cause gallstones.  Without bile, bowel movements can become hard. Try to avoid all processed foods while you are healing, The gluten-free foods are not fortified with vitamins and use various ingredients to mimic fat that bothers many Celiacs.  Choose vegatables with low omega 6.  Optimum omega 6 to omega 3 ratio is less than 3:1.  Wheat flour is 22:1.  Grass fed milk is 1:1.   Commercial Dairies milk is 5:1.  They feed wheat, rye and barley Gluten as part of the food mix.
