We've been going to this restaurant for years, but after I was diagnosed with celiac disease, I discovered they had a gluten-free menu! I've never been so happy to go out to dinner :-) They have a web site www.parkandorchard.com, which, although it doesn't have any of the gluten-free items as far as I know, it will give you a sample of the kinds of things available on their regular menu. Much of this can be modified with brown rice pastas or regular rice without the wheat berries, which I loved pre-gluten-free.

Their wine list has frequently been a WS award winner.

I've been THERE!!!

I used to work for a company that had an office in Clifton! I'd go up there some for training and we always would go there at least once while there! I used to love their PB pie (bet THAT's not gluten free, oh well). We uced to call it "Pork & Richards" b/c one of the guys had an accent and when he would say it, that's how it would sound! LOL :D

So strange to see it here. Guess if I ever make it back up there I'll have to check it out! :D

Welcome to the forum! This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):    This article may also be helpful:

Many years ago yes, after eating and going to bed, apparently my esophagus filled with food that my body rejected, the esophagus would lay against the Heart sack (pericardium?) and the heart would respond by becoming arrhythmic. That went away with the strict diet.

I was commenting on the report saying it did not mention migraines! Yes it does last paragraph says have not seen any evidence that Celiac cause migraines! I thought this was about truth?

It has been known for some years that celiacs suffer from migraines at a higher rate than the general populatation. It is an established symptom.
