I was wondering if someone has a wonderful recipe for crumbs that I can use to make pie, or cobblers? With fall here I want to be able to bake all of those goodies :) Thanks, Janet

You can always make apple-cinnamon muffins, using just about any recipe (and muffins hold up reasonably well to sub-ing in gluten-free flours, in my experience anyway), and then crumble them and dry them in the oven.

I came up with this recipe for summer fruits, but you could easily substitute apples and maybe cranberries (even plumped up dried ones - just soak them in water, juice, or bourbon).

Servings: 8

Active Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 40 minutes

Fruit Filling:

6 cups sliced summer stone fruit: peaches, nectarines, apricots, cherries

1 cup raspberries, blackberries, boysenberries, or blueberries

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 cup sugar (use less if the fruit is very ripe)

Crumb Topping:

1/4 cup butter or margarine

1/4 cup almond meal

1/4 cup corn meal

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/3 cup sweetened shredded coconut

1/3 cup sliced almonds

Pre-heat oven 350

Thank you all for your recipes, I wil be experimenting with them all. I live on Long Island, and next week we will be taking the kids to the east end for pumpkin and apple picking. I can smell the pies cooking now. Janet

From their website I see "organic barley leaf powder" as an ingredient. Keep in mind that the gluten is in the kernel, and not in the leaves. https://drinkag1.com/about-ag1/ingredients/ctr

Before the rise of social media we were well known by a lot of doctors and were recommended by many, especially our Safe & Forbidden Lists, but as doctors get younger and younger this is probably not happening as much as before.

Thanks Scott I will definitely check my vitamins and minerals to see what I am missing so then I can supplement. I was very concern about my Meniers syntoms and i tryed to find some alive. Now im just realizing that my celiac is provably the root cause of my Meniers none of the 12 doctors I saw told me anything about this.  This web site is so helpful, thanks to people like you we can get answers.

Vitamin D deficiency can contribute to rib pain. Chest pain stemming from the ribs ccould be costochondritis, which involves inflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the breastbone. This pain can range from mild to severe, potentially mimicking heart attack symptoms, and is often worsened by breathing or movement. Other potential causes include muscle strain, rib fractures, or even referred pain from other conditions.  It will also help to chose vegetables low in omega 6.
