I live in Madison, Wi and find that I have to go to at least 3 different places to get the brand names that I want. Does any one else find that they have to go to various stores to find any kind of a selection?

I welcomed you on your first post....so to answer you question....I would consider that a luxury to have more than one store available to me. :)

Yes, I have to travel around a bit, but I did that before anyway. One store has better produce. One store has cheaper prices on snacks and cereals. One store is the only one that carries the kind of salad dressing that I like. Now, gluten-free items get thrown in the mix . . . plus a few more stores, too  I get most of my stuff at one store and then make sure that I stock up when I'm visiting the ones that I don't get too much at in order to cut down on the number of trips. One store is totally out of my way but it carries a couple of things that I just can't get any where else. I've managed to only go there four times in 6 months. And as I get better with my planning, I should be able to do better than that. :)

I'm not too far from you in Waukesha and have the same issues. I'm not sure where you go, but if you've not checked out Whole Foods or Trader Joe's, they are a must.

Also for dining, Bunky's has gluten-free pizza and pasta! I've not had it the pizza yet, but want to badly!

I have the same problem. I have to go to 2 or 3 stores to get everything. That is not easy to do with 3 little ones!

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
