Last night my parents took me to Capital Grill in Chestnut Hill (Boston) Mass. Wow!! It was very pricey but worth a once in a while splurge. My waitress was an expert in gluten free. Her name is Heather ( ask for her if you go). The head chef came to my table and asked me what I couln't have. At the moment due to IC the list is long! He prepared me pan seared salmon over fall veggies (sweet potatoe, taro and fennel with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was one of the best meals ever! They also have a flourless chocolate cake. Could not have due to IC but my mom loved it. What a great experience.

Thanks so much for posting this! I was wondering about Capital Grill and whether they were gluten-free friendly. There is also one in Burlington, next to the new L.L. Bean's. Massachusetts may have it's drawbacks but it is becoming a very gluten-free friendly state!

Some might. Some might not. Why don't you try it? Taste is a very personal and individual thing. I don't know that anyone can speak for you.

Welcome to the forum, @Thoas! Just curious. Why do you ask? Is there some reason you are hesitant to try it besides taste?

Has anyone made cream of buckwheat using chocolate milk?

I was instructed to take Algaecal as alternative to bisphosphonate drugs for osteoporosis. I did for 2 years, 1200 mg a day. My cholesterol spiked above normal during this time. We watched it and finally determined best to get a test to see if calcium was causing the spike. I have never had high cholesterol before. Could the celiac non absorption have caused calcium to build in my arteries? Now put on a statin to lower cholesterol (began at 180 went to 240 while on Alcagal). thanks
