Breads By Anna Treat

I had to make 50 "somethings" (ideally cookies but I didn't have time) for Make a Difference day. All I had was a bag of Breads by Anna pumpkin bread and Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips. I made the batter as directed on the package but poured it into a 9x13 pan, baked for about 35 minutes, dumped half the chocolate chips on top, put it back in for two minutes and then spread the melted chocolate over the top. Those went a lot faster than my gluten-free brownies and all of the non-gluten-free people couldn't stop talking about how good they were. I love the Breads by Anna and this was a nice change up of her products.

It sounds like you have a very reasonable GI doctor, who diagnosed you based on family history and symptoms after eating gluten. I would consider you lucky! The other option would be to make yourself very sick by doing weeks of a gluten challenge prior to an endoscopy.

Hi Colleen H,   I suffered with the pins and needles/burning feeling in my legs and feet for at least  6 years until my Nephrologist figured out that I had to go on a low salt diet.  He said my kidneys weren't strong enough to remove the salt.  The simple fix was a diuretic, but that med leaves the uric acid behind, so that wasn't an option.  On the bright side the low salt diet lowered my BP over 20 points and and the pins and needles/burning feeling went away.  Good Luck and hope this helps.

Yes this is very frustrating for me ... not sure what to think.  Feels like I'm having reactions to a lot of things  Now applesauce?? I don't understand 😞

I did ... But aren't we going to be vitamin deficienct if we are not eating due to being sick ?? If the food we eat is gluten free and we have other sensitivities , how do we get out of the cycle??  Thank you

Anyone else get pins and needles. ??? Burning feeling ? Heat makes it so much worse 😔  Winter is here.  I had to lower my thermostat because I couldn't take that hot air feeling 😔  Hopefully it goes away soon
