Has anyone ever prepared gluten-free lasagna and cooked it the following day? OR cooked it one day and reheated it the next?

Thanks for your help!

I haven't prepared it and cooked it the next day, but I bet if you're using the no-boil method, it'll be fine.

Now I have made gluten-free lasagne and the leftovers warmed up great. I used Tinkyada pasta.

Yes I have cooked lasagna using gluten free (brown rice) lasagna noodles. My recipe makes a very large lasagna so I always have left overs for the next day to reheat. I also cut into portion sizes and freeze for an easy lunch to reheat in the microwave. The first time I made my recipe with gluten-free noodles I followed the package and precooked the noodles. Don't precook the noodles. I found that the lasagna was more runny since it normally used the ready-to-use dry noodles that absorbed the extra liquid. The next time I made my lasagna I used the noodles dry and it turned out much better - not as runny, so not so soggy when I reheated it the next day or after it being frozen.

It's such a nice treat to have a good lasagna thats gluten-free!

I have used deboles lasagna recipe with their no boil noodles and cooked it the day before and ate it the next. It held up just fine.

I'd like to add to be careful with the no boil however. The noodles will tkae longer to cook, as does all the gluten-free pasta. My mother made one last time I went to visit, so I will ask her how the leftovers re-heated and post as soon as I can.

I now make lasagna by buying the round rice wrapper noodles...the kind you get for making spring rolls. They are normally either 100% rice flour, or sometimes tapioca flour (but you have to read the labels, because I've noticed more and more of those types of things seem to be coming up with wheat flour!!!!). I get mine at international or Asian markets really, really cheap.

I don't boil...just lay them in the casserole dish and alternate with my other lasagna stuff, then cover and bake. Most people have enjoyed my lasagna and it re-heats very well too. Cheap and easy!

"Conclusions: The urinary iodine level was significantly lower in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis, and iodine replacement may be important in preventing osteoporosis"  Body iodine status in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Low iodine can cause thyroid problems, but Iodine deficiency will not show up in thyroid tests.  Iodine is important for healing, its job is to kill off defective and aging cells (Apoptosis). Skin, brain fog, nails, muscle tone all inproved when I started taking 600 mcg (RDA 150 - 1000 mcg) of Liquid Iodine drops. Some with dermatitis herpetiformis, Iodine exacerbates the rash.  I started at 1 drop (50 mcg) and worked up to 12 drops, but I don't have dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
