Holy Stabbing Back Pain Batman!

I went into the kitchen to make lunch and before I could even get anything out I had this sudden, super sharp, stabbing pain in my right shoulder blade area. I mean, it hurt and it still is a little tender. I know that area for pain is typically associated with the gall bladder but when I was being dx'ed with celiac they did an ultrasound and nuclear scan for GB problems and I the tests were negative. Could my gallbladder just now be acting up? Right now it feels like a sore/stiff muscle like when I'm driving and I try to turn my head to the right it hurts. Has any one else experienced this? I have a call into my doc. but they close for lunch and haven't gotten back to me.

I hope you're doing okay today. I have heard that gallbladder problems are MUCH more common during pregnancy. Had you eaten anything greasy or high in fat earlier?

thanks April. I feel better. My doc. called back and said if the pain were to happen again go to the ER otherwise follow up with my regular doctor if it doesn't go away. Although somewhat stiff I thankfully haven't not had the intense pain again since the other morning. The bizarre thing is that morning I ate a smoothie and sausage patty for bfast and then an orange for a snack so I'm wondering if it was my gallbladder or some wierd muscle spasm instead. I might go to my massage therapist and ask her or to the chiropractor. crazy! i swear everytime i talk to my docs. they all look at me with blank stares like i'm the first person with such a complaint.

I was taking medicine for sibo but it was not agreeing with my stomach at all.Was on gabapentin but it amps me up.I was taking in morning because it wasn't allowing me to sleep. This has always been an issue with medicine and me.Even going to dentist, the good shot that numbs you once, I can't take because it makes my heart beat fast and I  get the shakes.I have to take the crappy stuff and get injected always more than 4 times always. Its infuriating

I showed one doctor I went to once because completely clueless of celiac disease and yes that one was connected to a well known hospital and she said oh thats just a bunch of people that think they are celiac coming together. I said um no they have doctors and knowledge behind what is being written. So bay area is Downplaying this site! SADLY

If you successfully digest gluten with enzyme supplements so it won’t give you side effects, your challenge won’t be worthwhile because the digested fragments of gluten also won’t stimulate antibody production or cause intestinal damage.

You can search this site for prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance" and click it, and then look at "Inactive Ingredients," as any gluten ingredients would likely appear there, rather than in the Active Ingredients area. https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/
