Happy New Year!

My resolution is to turn my walking workout into a running workout, but I need good tunes for that on my ipod. Please post your favorite workout tunes so that i can build myself a playlist!

I like any type of music except country (sorry).

My favorite groups are Dave Matthews, Phish, Keane, but really I am open to all ideas!

Thanks!

Terri

 Well, Country and Country/Blues is all there is out there worth listening too  so, I guess you don't want my vote  ! I love Country music. How about a cross over song--how about Rockstar--I Wanna Be a Rockstar should be great to work out to--started out as rock music and crossed over to country--makes us both happy!!!!!

Some may laugh....BUT my favorite work out tunes come off the Rocky 4 soundtrack. The training montage gets me moving every time!!!

I don't work out, I walk (I live in NYC) and I prefer Daughtry. His new album is GREAT for getting you going! The new Carrie Underwood is pretty rockin' too! and no....I'm so not an American Idol fan! ;)

Hi Terri!

I started running in early September of last year and have run three 5Ks since. It gets addictive!! Here's what I listen to on my iPod -- the beats are good to run to.

Good Luck!

Maureen :)

Thanks everyone! Keep the tunes coming-it really is helpful. I'm not doing so well with my goal...but haven't given up. My favorite thing to listen to so far has been some good Dave Matthews tunes. Two-Step is a good one and they last forever, so that helps me stay on the treadmill!

There are some awesome mash ups on the internet that you can find....some of my favorites are a mashup of Alicia Keys "You don't know my name" and Aerosmith "Sweet Emotions", ACDC's "Back in Black" and Queen's "We Will Rock You" and probably one of the most famous mashups called Ray of Gob (Madonna and the Sex Pistols). Probably my all time favorite, which you can view a video of on You Tube, is Sexy Sunglasses (Cory Hart "I Wear my Sunglasses at Night" mashed with Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack").

I also love Icky Thump by White Stripes, Hitchin a Ride by Green Day and Move Along by All American Idiots to get things movin' along!!

Have fun!

They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

@JettaGirl, "Coeliac" is the British spelling of "celiac". Same disease.

This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.
