:huh: Aloha,

I have been gluten free for 3 months and was tested again my IgA was 51.2 now it's 56.1! My IgG was 12.3 now it's 4.3 what's this mean? am I still getting gluten?or am I getting better cause the IgG is so much lower???

can you have high IgA w/ any other diseases? My doctor faxed me this test and no explaination I really don't think he knows much about celiac. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Suzanne

I think the one you really want to watch is TtG tissue transglutaminase. It's the most specific. I do know IgA is more involved with mucosal tissues, which is what the gut is made of. I would suggest you scrutinize your diet and get the TtG test.
