Just for the record, I called about Tri-Lo-Sprintec, which is a generic for Ortho-Tri-Cyclen Lo that has recently become available. The company said it is gluten free. Here is their information:

I took tri sprintec for 12 months with no problems. the next one i got onto was another that was generic for tri cyclen and it made me sick within three weeks. i contacted the manufacturer and they had wheat starch... so i called my gyno and requested another scrip which hasnt bothered my stomach but hasn't done as good of a job of controlling my mood swings. tri sprintec has been my favorite so far but its been over a year since i was on it so there is a possibility the formula has changed. i would get in contact with the manufacturer as it is VERY hard to find acurate ingredient info on the net. its like they dont want to release their secret ingredient or something

If it was me, within 2-3 hours I would be throwing up violently with excruciating abdominal cramps for 2-3 hours. When this phase was done I would go into the diarrhea phase for several hours. But every celiac is different in how they respond to getting "glutened".

I was recently browsing a local grocery store's for gluten free flour and they had a King Arthur bread flour that was made with wheat!!!! Can anyone on this site tell me more about this??  Is it really gluten-free? Safe for Celiac sufferers??? I'd love to make bread again that actually tastes like real bread.

Thank you both for your kind assistance. I really appreciate the effort strangers go to helping others seeking advice. I will endeavour to have the recommended tests done and will update this post.  Thank you again for being so helpful!

For the celiac disease blood tests it needs to be 6-8 weeks eating lots of gluten daily, and 2 weeks before an endoscopy. Keep in mind that a diagnosis can also bring higher life insurance and private health insurance costs, so an official diagnosis can have some negative sides too. Another example is that many jobs now ask if you have a "disability" and celiac disease is included on their list of disabilities. Just some things to weigh out before proceeding.😉
