Honey Baked Ham Now Gluten Free, We Think

Recommended Posts

My DH called company and rep said the glaze has been gluten-free since Nov 07. Also said "thank goodness they finally changed it"

We enjoyed at a group event Saturday.

Cleaning up, I saw that the ingredient label (with a 2004 date) includes "wheat starch" :o - but I did not have a reaction -- okay, I had a reaction of horror to the ingredient list, but gut & skin are fine so far ;) I'm hoping that means they just are lazy about changing the labels  .

gluten-free (except unintentionally) from 7 Dec 2007

3 gluten-free cousins and counting (1 gold standard, 1 pos blood/no endo, 1 self/dietary diagnosed)

suspect mother was celiac (also, cousin suspects my mother's twin is celiac)

Feb 08 testing 'normal range' for gluten antibodies, IBD and food allergies

Staying off gluten - dietary reaction is compelling for me!

"Hi, I'm the gluten-free diner at your table."
