Lower Back Pain Only When Gluten Free?

I was wondering what this is all about. I went gluten free for a few weeks and felt great, but my lower back started aching me really bad, its worse when I lay down at night, but goes away by morning. I went back on gluten for a "test" just for a few days and the pain went away, but all my other symptoms came back twice as bad, really bad deperession, gas, bloating, migrane. NOw with just being a entire 1 day and 1/2 off of gluten the pain is creeping back on me, really bad. I've also been noticeing pressure in my tailbone when I stand. luckily my GI sympons clear pretty quickly, but it takes a good few days to be at least 90% comfortable...

had anyone had this? or know if it is realted to gluten intolerance/celiac? I havent been diagnosed yet.

I read something somewhere about pain being a withdawl symptom??

Sounds like you're constipated. Drink castor oil and take ibuprofen. I went to ER with same issue and they made it worse by giving me muscle relaxers.

Agreed. Dairy is just as bad as gluten for me.

Many probiotics start with growing the bacteria on a dairy substrate leaving traces of dairy in the probiotics.   Many Celiacs react to dairy in the same way as they react to gluten because certain protein chains in dairy resemble gluten protein chains.   @Wheatwacked ferments his own pickles.  Perhaps he can chime in.

Yes it happens if I eat yogurt to.

The AIP diet does have a vegetarian version.   Dr. Sarah Ballantyne developed the AIP diet for herself and her children, all Celiacs.  The AIP diet has been shown in scientific studies to promote intestinal healing.  You might visit her website.  https://www.thepaleomom.com/
