What kind of rice are you eating? In other words, is it minute rice, parboiled rice, brown rice, basmati, arborio, short grain brown, etc? Have you tried Kasha (roasted buckwheat), millet, teff, or amaranth?

What sort of veggies have you tried? Like sweet potatoes, squashes, cucumbers, celery, carrots, green peas, beets, turnips, parsnips, spinach, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, etc, etc?

What sort of fruits are you able to eat, and which have you tried that don't work for you?

What happens if you eat various nuts and seeds?

Keep in mind that dairy might begin to give you problems even if it hasn't in the past. It really isn't very nutritious, and if you're looking for a good source of calcium, a supplement would be much better, since milk proteins are not easily digested, and can in fact deplete calcium despite the amount of calcium in the milk.

Are you taking any supplements? That sounds very critical for you at this point. Powdered supplements would probably be best absorbed.

Do you have anyone else eating gluten in your house? I'm sure you've checked, but have you verified that there isn't any gluten in your skin and hair care products, soaps, detergents, dryer sheets, etc?

have you talked to your doctor about the issue? it seems like anything with protein in it is giving you problems, and I vaguely recall there being something along those lines... actually, working with an allergist or GI specifically, rather than a GP might be more helpful, or even a nutritionist, as long as they're good...

with a diet this restricted, I'd be hesitant to offer specific advice...

I have mostly neuro symptoms and not GI. But years ago I had horrible stomach/GI issues. Meat killed me. And I was soooo limited.

But I started taking digestive enzymes and HCL and I was able to eat normally again. This is something for you to consider. Over time I weaned off of the HCL and I can eat meat now with no problems. I still take digestive enzymes.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
