Gluten Free Cafe Frozen Meals

I was at whole foods last night buying my frozen lunches when I spied something totally new.

The brand name is Gluten Free Cafe Open Original Shared Link

I bought a Fettuccine Alfredo and a Basis Lemon Chicken (I think). I brought the chicken one for lunch, which I will go eat in about 30 mins and report back.

I will try to take a picture of the box as well.

The pricing was not bad, most of the other Gluten Free frozen meals out there are about $6 these were just under $5. Not sure yet about quantity (fill you up factor).

I know the Glutino frozen entrees are good, but you don't get hardly anything for the money.

Ok, so it was called Lemon Basil Chicken, I was close

All in all, pretty good. It has a lot of sodium, but also a lot of protein which I know can be a challenge for us. It was more filling than the Glutino Entrees (Open Original Shared Link) but not as filling as Organic Bistros Entrees (Open Original Shared Link).

The flavor was good, no overkill in my opinion. I took some pictures of the packaging and the final prepared meal. Of course it was with my phone and no cable for it at work. I will upload the photos later.

Thats exciting. I like that it has prebiotics in it, since we have so little of that in the gluten-free diet. Thanks for the heads up

Today I had Fettuccini Alfredo, it had good flavor, but the rice noodles were a bit mushy. It was not bad.
