Hello, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for the Spokane Washington, Coeur d'Alene Idaho area as far as restaurant experience?

My fiance was just diagnosed a week ago and I am just getting all the info I can on where to go for future times out on the town ;)

We did go to Bonsai Bistro in Coeur d'Alene and had a great experience over the weekend.

Thanks for any help!!!!!

We were in Coeur d' Alene last week, and had a great experience at the Red Robin there. We went at a not very busy time (2:00 or so). When we were seated, I told the waiter that my son and I needed a gluten free meal. He smiled and let me know that he would go print the menu for me. He also informed me (without prompting) that the fries were prepared in a dedicated fryer. The menu had quite a few choices. I ended up getting a cheeseburger (protein style wrapped in a lettuce leaf). The menu stated that I should instruct that my meal (both burger and fries) be prepared without the RR seasoning. The kid's menu was a bit less extensive. There was only one thing that my son could choose from - the Rad Robin burger (basically a smaller version of a hamburger). But they had quite a variety of sides that he sould pick from (melon, oranges, salad, fries, etc.), so that was a good thing. Of course, being a 9 year old, he chose the fries.

Our meal was delivered to us by the restaurant manager, who told us that it was prepared by the head cook. They checked on us several times to make sure everything was to our liking. Our burgers and fries were great, and neither my son or I got sick. And my dad was buying! That was my favorite part. :)

Many years ago yes, after eating and going to bed, apparently my esophagus filled with food that my body rejected, the esophagus would lay against the Heart sack (pericardium?) and the heart would respond by becoming arrhythmic. That went away with the strict diet.

I was commenting on the report saying it did not mention migraines! Yes it does last paragraph says have not seen any evidence that Celiac cause migraines! I thought this was about truth?

It has been known for some years that celiacs suffer from migraines at a higher rate than the general populatation. It is an established symptom.
