if you will review my posts on the parents board, it will give you a little background on my issues currently with my daughter.

if you look on a map, at the spot where TN, MS, and AL meet....that is where Savannah TN is located.

Not sure exactly how far away it is, but look up Dr. Harry K. Delcher in Atlanta GA. He is the doctor I see and is just amazing. He's an endocrinologist with Celiac himself. Also, if you go see him, theres a store not far from his office called Atlantis Natural Foods. They are supposedly the largest gluten free store in GA.

I second Dr. Delcher altough he might be a bit of a drive but so worth it. I can't say enough kind things about him.

I am so glad someone else on this board knows of him! Isn't he just a godsend of a doctor and so understanding?

Isn't he though? I would not be the person I am today had I not met him. I spent 10 years going to doctors who could never come up with anything and this man spent 10 minutes with me and said I know exactly what is wrong with you.

he did the exact same thing with me! I was 17 and could barely walk and had crippling migraines. He took my current symptom list, asked for my health history from the day i was born, and before my mom even hit age 2 of my history he interrupted and told us exactly what was wrong. plus he took the time to explain everything. the appointment was only supposed to be an hour but he took a full 2 hours to explain everything and answer our questions. I was sorry for the appoinment after me because we took so long but thank heaven for a doctor like him!

Good point, as thyroid conditions are more common in those with celiac disease: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/thyroid-pancreatic-disorders-and-celiac-disease/
