is Pillsbury frosting still gluten-free? i've read a few older posts that indicate yes but Duncan Hines is not...is this still the case?

Duncan Hines often changes their recipe. I can tell you that Pillsbury and Betty Crocker will disclose any gluten in their ingredients, so you just have to read the label to determine if it's gluten free.

I always just make this from scratch. Takes like ten minutes:

* 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

* 1/2 cup butter, softened

* 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter until creamy. Mix in the vanilla, then gradually stir in the confectioners' sugar. Store in the refrigerator after use.

Once you see how easy it is and how much better it tastes, you'll never go back. It works best with a mixer, but you can do it by hand, I have many times. Just remember to take the butter and sour cream out of the fridge well beforehand to let them soften.

Hope its delicious.

      The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

      I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

      More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
