I've been trying to find other possibilities of what's wrong on the system, and truthfully, I haven't found many other options of what this could be.

The biopsy was positive. I want to ask the doc more about this. . .was it positive for inflammation only? Was it positive for damaged villi? What actually did the biopsy show?

I've only found a few other things that this could possibly be:

Side effect from gall bladder surgery. **raises hand** - but would that cause inflammation in the duodenom?

Lead Posioning - Ohhhhh my, I've been stripping the beadboard in our bathroom for FOR-EV-AR. It's lead based. I use a resperator specifically designed for lead - and keep the bathroom well ventilated. . . pain in side is fairly new - have had it occur before, but has always resolved fairly quickly. I started the bathroom back in October of last year. Bowel symptoms have gone on for decades, pre and post gall bladder disease. . since childhood.

Helicobacter pylori - test twice, both times came back negative.

Giardia - also tested, negative.

Oh, and Cadida and Diabetis - I haven't been tested for either - so I'm going to ask my Primary Care doc to run these for me. Before I started taking the Gluten out of my diet I craved sugar like it was going out of style. Now I don't.

and of course, there's Celiac Disease

I have a doc appointment on April 1st. . . so I'm putting a list together of things to ask him.

I know I've done better - MUCH better if I can keep the gluten out of my mouth. If I get something with it in it, wow... immediate and harsh. Way harsh.

I know that I couldn't eat anything for two days before he took the blood work. The second day, I felt better.

I've always done a system of research and rule outs when something goes on the table that has a chance that a false negative/positive or does not have definitive testing. This has reversed several misdiagnoses in my life and has saved my life several times.

I'm frustrated right now. I was totally completely shocked that the tests came back negative. I will be requesting a copy of the lab results and the biopsy to go over myself, and possibly take to my primary care doc.

And I'll talk to the GI doc about possible moves from here.

Any one have anything else I could either put on the list. . .or know of something else this could possibly be? Oh, I have a chronic high white blood cell count - have had this for decades. . .and decades. Also, my ribs on my left side are way touch tender. . .and the tissue between is even worse.

I've multiple multiple tests for Lupus, RA, MS, and several other systemic autoimmune disorders. All negative.

So I think I'm totally stumped.

**waves white flag**

Any thoughts?

I would request a copy of your pathology report from your biopsy/endoscopy exam. Post that information here, and some can help interpret your results.

It is possible to have negative bloodwork and still have celiac (especially since you had a positive biopsy). IgA deficiency can cause false negatives. Knowing your IgA level would be helpful.

Interesting, when I suffered for a few months with ectopics I noticed that carbohydrates would cause indigestion and bloating in my stomach, then that would lead to my heart skipping beats, and I could feel it in my throat, it was very unsettling.  My last serious bout of this was after eating a Muller Rice Pudding for breakfast.   I happened to be wearing a 48 hour halter at the time and cardiology picked it up, but they weren't worried about what they saw. There was some British doctor who'd made some videos on the Vagus nerve that I remember watching at the time which made sense of what I was experiencing, there did seem to be some sort of connection.

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.
