Well, I went to the Doc last week to get results from the Colonoscopy, and because I was having trouble after the Colonoscopy. So He said that my colon looked normal, they did see A little inflamation,( he said Micro-colitis) Basically he told me that nothings wrong with me. He said to take Pepto Pills reguarly to help the stomach aches, and he gave me Levsin. So most of all last week I felt pretty good, no major issues. The Pepto has helped alot, I usually take one in the Morning, after lunch, and maybe after dinner depending on how I feel. I've also been able to do a BM too! haha yeah. So I hope that it keeps up. I can get used to feeling good. I almost didnt want to post this, so I didnt ginx it! :P

Most of my issues are in my head, so I have to control my emotions and feelings so I dont get stressed, or nervous.

So you don't have Celiac Disease? Taking Pepto often like that doesn't sound good. . .are you sure you don't have something more than nerves?

From the time I was 4 or so until 17 doctors told me and my family that my stomach issues and such were being a nervous child and then eventually that I was making myself sick on purpose. They told my Mom to feed me fiber and take things like Pepto to stop the pains.

Oh yeah, I have Celiac, sorry. Just been having other problems so he did a colonoscopy to see if anything else was wrong. I've been Gluten Free for 10 mths now its helped alot, but I sometimes have problems

I am glad the pepto is helping. I used the liquid and found it to be a great aid. At this point you may want to take it only when you need it for pain. One thing I want to mention in case the doctor didn't is that pepto may turn your stool very dark. That is not something to be concerned about.

I'm glad to see you're feeling better. You've been fightin' the feeling for a long time!

As for anxiety, I take St. Jon's Wort. I started for the seasonal blues but the last two years have been economic stress busters and I take it every day. My DH takes it now too. It really has been tough and he gets down about it sometimes. It does take the edge off.

Actually, Pepto can be used as a first-line treatment for Miscroscopic Colitis. I did it for 8 weeks (as prescribed by my gastro) and it helped considerably. She told me that it can't hurt and may put the condition into remission without having to resort to steroids or stronger meds.

My doctor also told me that miscroscopic colitis has an association with Celiac Disease.

Thank you I'm glad to say that I'm still feeling good. I only take the pepto acouple times a day and it seems to do the trick! Thanks for the information and support!

When my wife attempted to open the online card in the store with a cashier, it would not work. We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase. That did not satisfy her, since she said she needed the link to open to reveal the gift ID num. They even admitted they had a systems problem around that time.

Was the card itself lost or just the record or both?

We were flabergasted that the owner would not acknowledge a $50 e-gift card I purchased for my celiac wife. My wife tried to open it in the store and was informed there had been a system change and they could not find the record. No worries, she was told, just talk to management. Six months later, and numerous absurd back and forths, and the owner literally informs me there have been "bad actors", so she can't make good on this lost gift card. In other words, she accused me of lying and committing fraud... over $50! Please be careful with your orders and purchases here.

Yes, some people do get withdrawal from gluten but gluten withdrawal doesn't usually cause gut pain. Maybe more like general body aches and discomfort. We have articles on gluten withdrawal on this forum. You might do a search for them. Applesauce is very acidic and some brands have added vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which makes them more acidic. This can damage the stomach lining if you eat it too often. Especially if your stomach lining is already compromised. Ibuprofen inhibits the body's ability to rebuild the stomach's protective mucosal lining. That's why it can cause peptic ulcers. As strange as it may sound, low level irritation/inflammation stimulates the body to rebuild the stomach lining. There are two steps in this rebuilding process known as COX 1 and COX 2. Ibuprofen represses both COX 1 and COX 2. Celecoxcib, a prescription anti inflammatory, inhibits only COX 2, making it less likely to cause damage to the gut lining.

Do you or anyone know alot about ibuprofen  I wasn't sure if I was eating too much apple sauce.   Something is making my pain so much worse  I'm referring to the intense pins and needles in my feet and lower legs.  Jaw actually has tardive dystonia and muscle spasms throughout my back Almost like an opposite effect that a pain reliever would do. I'm fairly new to this. Whatever is going on seems to be worsening  Do people get a withdrawal effect from gluten?  It's extremely painful 😖  I'll post that question or research on the site  Thank you everyone for responding
