Just a tad confused. I can eat ezekial bread which is sprouted organic wheat bread with no issues, but a tiny 100 calorie pack of toasted wheathins crackers and I get ill. Is it the wheat or is it the gluten? A forkfull of steamed rice(frozen prepackaged Birds Eye with seasonings) gave me the instant headache and breathing issues. But since i ate very little it the headache was short lived, unlike yesterday when i had a lot of this type of rice at a restaurant and was ill for the remainder of the evening bloated and in pain and a headache. had the breathing issues with that one also, hard to breathe. I am guessing it isnt wheat but the gluten that is in wheat and everything else.

Everyone is different and have different reactions. Before being gluten-free I could eat bread and not have an instant reaction but if I ate whole wheat bread I was suddenly ill. The same for milk products: I could drink a glass of milk and be so ill but could eat tons of chocolate with only having issues later.

Wheat will always have gluten in it. So, the bread is still containing gluten and will still do damage whether you feel/see it. You can always have reactions later depending on how much, what kind, and when you ate the wheat/gluten.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
