I bought a case of these yesterday (milk chocolate flavor). There is "natural flavors" listed in the ingredients, otherwise it looks safe. I've emailed Costco but haven't received a reply. Does anyone here happen to know for sure if these are gluten-free?

Thanks!

A phone call at the number below should give you an answer. Bear in mind that barley malt is often considered a flavoring agent and as such does not need to be disclosed on the label.

Costco is a warehouse store that carries food in bulk. They have started a new labeling policy for their Kirkland line of food products in which they will put "no gluten" on those products that are gluten free (including their roasted chicken). If you have a specific question on the gluten content of any Kirkland item, you can call a Costco service representative at 800-774-2678, Ext. 6.

Thanks for the phone number, ravenwoodglass. I will use that in the future.

I received an email reply today from Costco stating that the product is gluten free.

I decided to check for myself, and just received an e-mail from Costco saying the Milk Chocolate Weight Loss drinks are NOT gluten free.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
