Does anyone know if the ALDIs "Infuse Thirst Quencher" is gluten free? Its basically ALDIs version of gatorade (I think actual gatorade is gluten free).

Here are all the ingredients of the 2 I have,

Extreme Grape- water, glucose syrup, sucrose, citric acid, natural and artificial flavors, salt, sodium citrate, potassium phosphate, ester gum, blue 1, red 40.

Lemon-Lime- water, sucrose syrup, high fructose corn syrup, citric acid, natural lemon and lime flavors with other natural flavors, salt, sodium citrate, monopotassium phosphate, gum arabic, glycerol ester of wood rosin, yellow 5.

What do you think?

I don't know the answer to your question, but do you really want to put all that sugar and chemicals into your body?

I guess not, but I dont have much of a choice because theres nothing else in our house to drink on a hot day. Im a teenager by the way, I dont have the option (or ability) of going out all the time and getting things for myself at this time and the way I feel now.

Water is always good but sometimes you need something more.

hmmm, I would argue that you don't need more than water, but I guess that's harder to believe if it's not what you've always done. :P

Can you figure out what drinks you know you can have and just put them on the shopping list? That way you'd have something that's safe. Otherwise, I'm guessing that the ingredients in the aldis is safe, but I suppose you could try it once and see what happened.....

Aldi also carries assorted 100% juice blends. The one labeled fruit punch tastes like cough syrup, but the one called Berry Blend tastes nice. Their apple juice is really outstanding. Their not-from-concentrate orange juice is even better, equivalent to Tropicana Pure Premium. Periodically they carry a 100% juice cranberry/raspberry blend that is also very good. And all this year, they've had Jarritos soft drinks from Mexico, meaning with sugar rather than high-fructose corn syrup. I like the orange flavor.

Infuse is probably gluten-free, but unless you're actually in two-a-days for football, you're probably better off with fruit juice.

They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

@JettaGirl, "Coeliac" is the British spelling of "celiac". Same disease.

This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.
