I was looking for Cream of Celery Soup to make a dip. All the cans in the supermarket I was in had wheat in them.

Does anyone know of a gluten-free version of this?

Health Valley makes an Organic Cream of Celery Soup. Here are ingredients listed:

Ingredients: filtered water, organic celery, organic cream, organic rice flour, natural flavors (contains organic carrot, organic onion, organic celery, salt, autolyzed yeast, whey, butter), organic corn starch, sea salt, organic celery concentrate, autolyzed yeast, organic canola oil, organic onion powder, organic garlic powder, organic parsley, organic white pepper, organic turmeric (for color).

I used Healthy Valley cream of mushroom in a chicken and stuffing recipe and it was delicious.

So I thought since it was so good that the cream of chicken just had to be good and went and ordered a whole case from Amazon. Big mistake. It was simply awful. Right now the remaining cans are in my car awaiting my delivery to charity. I even feel guilty about giving them to charity because it was so bad.

So my 2 cents are to taste your recipe before taking your dip to a party.

I make my own cream of mushroom from the following recipe. You could substitute celery for the mushrooms. I freeze it so I have it on hand.

Interesting, when I suffered for a few months with ectopics I noticed that carbohydrates would cause indigestion and bloating in my stomach, then that would lead to my heart skipping beats, and I could feel it in my throat, it was very unsettling.  My last serious bout of this was after eating a Muller Rice Pudding for breakfast.   I happened to be wearing a 48 hour halter at the time and cardiology picked it up, but they weren't worried about what they saw. There was some British doctor who'd made some videos on the Vagus nerve that I remember watching at the time which made sense of what I was experiencing, there did seem to be some sort of connection.

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.
