I was looking at Captain Morgan Long Island Iced Tea while at the store tonight. The ingredients are listed as: Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Gin. Great. No problem. But then they throw in the always ominous "natural flavoring" and "caramel color".

I can't find any information on the website and the # on the bottle was closed. Anyone know if it's gluten-free?

Caramel color is certainly not a problem, and natural flavor almost certainly is not. I'm virtually positive that CM says all its products are gluten-free. Call them.

When in doubt you know what to do. Until you find some confirmation, I would avoid it. Besides, there are alternatives. CM's regular spiced rum is gluten free.

I called the company today and the representative I spoke to said it was on the unconfirmed list. I guess stating the source of the caramel color, and if any malted additives are included in the "natural flavoring" label is giving away corporate secrets.

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye.
