I USE TINKYADA RICE PASTA BECAUSE THEIR FACILITY IS DEDICATED TO RICE ONLY AND THERE'S NO CHANCE FOR CROSS-CONTAMINATION.

2C RICE PASTA (MACARONI, SHELLS, FUSSILI, WHO CARES?)

2.5QT CASSEROLE DISH

IN A BLENDER:

1C RAW CASHEWS

1LG RED BELL PEPPER (RAW OR ROASTED)

2tp KOSHER SALT (IODIZED SALT MAY FLARE UP OUR SKIN RASH)

1tp GARLIC POWDER

1sm ONION

1tp CELERY SEED

2TB RAW SESAME SEEDS

(MAKE SURE YOU GRIND THE CELERY + SESAME SEEDS WELL BEFORE ADDING THEM TO THE BLENDER)

6TB NUTRITIONAL YEAST

1C ROASTED GARLIC OLIVE OIL (YOU CAN USE REGULAR OLIVE OIL, BUT THIS IS BETTER)

1/3C LEMON JUICE (FRESH SQUEEZED AND STRAINED FOLKS!)

1C WATER

BOIL PASTA

WHEN THE PASTA'S ALMOST DONE ADD ALL YOUR OTHER INGREDIENTS TO THE BLENDER AND BLEND ON THE HIGHEST SPEED FOR ABOUT 3-5 MINUTES, OR UNTIL IT'S COMPLETELY MIXED AND SMOOTH MAKING SURE YOU SCRAPE DOWN THE SIDES AS YOU GO.

DRAIN PASTA

PUT THE PASTA AND THE MIX IN THE DISH AND BAKE AT 375 FOR 1 HOUR

LET IT COOL FOR 1HOUR, THE FLAVORS BECOME MORE PRONOUNCED AS IT COOLS

FOR THOSE OF US WHO CAN'T DO GLUTEN OR DAIRY.

So far this is my favorite vegan mac n cheese recipes of all time, which I've been thinking about making gluten-free:

I've been looking for a recipe for cheese to make mac and cheese, as well as using on pizza....I've been longing for mac and cheese....and this will really help....Thanks allot.....

I made this one last night, I was really surprised how much I LOVED it! I put all the ingredients (sans pasta) into the vitamix/blender, SUPER easy. The only thing I would change is more mustard--I like that bit of tang ;)

I've been playing with Karina's recipe this week, at least the sauce recipe.

I mix together coconut milk (it makes the sauce thicker if you're doing stovetop mac-n-cheese), white wine, horseradish, stoneground mustard, tapioca starch, turmeric, and nutritional yeast.

Unfortunately, I can only say "to taste" on any of those because I don't use measuring cups.

Took me forever to get back to my post...

But I'm here to tell you that if you haven't tried this yet, you're missing out. It's good stuff. Even my friend made it and liked it and she's able to eat REAL cheese! I won't say it's exactly like the real thing, but it'll definitely help you over those cheese cravings. Works for me anyway...

      Stop eating oats as it did give me irritation.The only diffrent thing i have been consuming are a new probitics which seem to have a fruit ive never heard of as a prebiotic

      It could well be a new intolerance developing.  Does your diet incorporate pure oats i.e. those safe for coeliac consumption?  I find I can only tolerate a certain amount, same goes for dairy in fact, then I start to get gastric symptoms.   Or have you started consuming a new type of gluten-free bread, or more gluten-free bread than normal, that might contain oats?  I remember reading a post on this forum from a woman who had started to eat a lot of loaves made with oat flour and her coeliac symptoms kicked off again.  I am sure you know this, but some coeliacs cannot tolerate pure oats.

      I eat a lot of dairy but its intermittent is this burning so I would assume it would happen all the time. Plus I have been tested for lactose intolerance  etc and I am fine and the other symptoms of that I don't get. As a aside  my dad died last month after a long illness so I wonder if the stress of that might be a influence as a bodily reaction to stress.

      You should be fine.  You may start feeling better within a few days.  Someone who is very low in thiamine may notice improvement within hours.   Did you get the NeuroMag  or another magnesium supplement?
