You will be fine with fasting ..that will not affect the test results.

Thanks for the response. I was pretty sure it would be accurate, just wanted to double-check, since I could not get a definate answer from either the doctor or the lab.

A 12 hour fast is not long enough to change the results of the blood test. Good luck with it!

They told me it didn't matter if I fasted when I went..that's right, right? Cus' I ate a lot of pasta beforehand!
