Generally, the biggie to look for in hair products is Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein. Of course in other body care products beware of all Aveeno products which have oats. Others may have some more ideas for you to watch out for.

Heck yes! Someone on here had a list of gluten free cosmetics and I'm not computer savvy enough to find the link- maybe someone else will post. But, especially if you are very sensitive-something only time will tell, you must check any product that possibly could be ingested. Fructis and Suave shampoos are safe. Lancome's website has a good list of things in cosmetics that would be wheat-containing- just go to "Lancome" and I think you'll find it.

More will post,

wheat germ oil is common in shampoos and cosmetics and lotions. I tossed out quite a lot of products.

You're looking for the same things in your cosmetics etc that you're looking for on food labels. Wheat, barley, and rye. If they're listed in the ingredients, don't buy it.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
