So sorry you're not getting results India :(

I second the removing chicken/turkey from your diet, and please make sure eggs are out as well for now :) That stuff does horrible, horrible things to me.

Supplements? For the big C I've found Magnesium supplements are helping a lot - get a high dose of Mg Citrate or Mg AAC (Amino acid complex) at least 200mg. Unless you have kidney problems, in which case seek medical advise first :)

For the bloating and feeling sick after eating - have you had an endoscopy? If you have an ulcer, you'd feel nauseous after eating, not sure about the bloating. Also SIBO - small intestine bacterial overgrowth. Low FODMAP will help with that, stick with white rice and easily absorbed foods.

Exercise is very helpful for both SIBO (if that's the problem), and I've read constipation as well, so try and keep up with your exercise if you can?

This really is embarrassing! My doctor provided um, something fairly drastic to tackle the problem from the other point of view, if you see what I mean! It worked, sort of. But I've bought Milk of Magnesia today - I hadn't heard of that before. I'm also going to look into ordering magnesium supplements, which I think may also help with my muscle problems. Thanks for your advice - I'm seeing my doctor in person soon to emphasise how bad this is. Cheers.

Have you tried prune juice? If not give it a try. If you are literally not having a bowel movement how long has it been and how much pain are you in? If you are having small movements that is one thing but if your not passing anything you need to get that referral pronto as impaction can be a real problem.

I've tried so many things. I have tried tinned prunes but that caused much bloating and not much else. Curiously, I'm not in much pain but after it got to a week without, I got some more drastic help from my doctor, which worked a little. I'll try the juice and see if that helps though - thanks!

The cost is the big issue there but I have this in mind if things don't improve. Thank you :)

So sorry - this was to ravenwoodglass but I replied in the wrong place. Time for my worn out brain to rest for tonight!

Some interesting articles regarding the use of Zinc Carnosine to help heal gastric ulcers, gastritis and intestinal permeability. I would consult a medical professional about it's use. https://www.nature.com/articles/ncpgasthep0778 https://www.rupahealth.com/post/clinical-applications-of-zinc-carnosine---evidence-review https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7146259/ https://www.fallbrookmedicalcenter.com/zinc-l-carnosine-benefits-dosage-and-safety/

He is. Which makes everything even more difficult. I’m not a believer in “staying for the kids” but I have nowhere to go and it’s not just me, it’s me plus my babies. We live in a beautiful place, lots of land in the country and me and the kids love the place we’ve called home for their entire lives. But Im seeing that he’ll never change, that my kids deserve a happy healthy Momma, and that staying in this as is will be the early death of me. Then I look at the scars covering my entire body…this disease and the chronic stress I’ve been enduring for years that tell me I’m no longer beautiful and no one will ever look at me with interest again. I try self care, try to give myself grace so I can just start loving myself enough to gain strength but the slightest sparkle in my eye and skip in my step attracts his wrath and it all comes crashing ten fold. Life is just absolutely railing me from every single direction leaving me wanting to wave that white flag bc I don’t feel like there’s much hope no matter what happens.
