Bentyl tends to slug things up so I am trying out some probiotics and fibre therapy. I switched from Phillips colon health 3b cfu then i went to a health food store and trying Natures way Primadophilus Bifidus 5b cfu. However they have a celiac bowel health suppliment. (havent tried it,.. kinda expensive) I also chew 2 vitafusion fibre gummies. gluten-free and 5g per serving.

curious what you do for colon health... cept not poison ourselves with gluten that is... Of course, Duh!

Not that I'm your doctor, nor do I play one on TV, but have you thought about cutting back on the Bentyl? I cut it in half about 3 weeks after going gluten-free, and in 5 weeks I was off it entirely. I certainly haven't needed it since going gluten-free.

I take Jarrow (5 billion) probiotics and digestive enzymes. No added fiber - I eat a lot of veggies and some fruit.

bluebonnet Explorer

sustenex (and if you go online they have $1 & $5 coupons you can print out).

Actually I used to take Librax and just changed to Bentyl. When one eats, a signal goes to the brain that you are eating and will need to prepare for an evacuation.

In MY brain however, The signal is defective and by the time my food hits my tummy, My bowl is spasming. I need an antispasmotic. The librax has valium in it which is why I had to switch.

I eat ton of salad. I love salad and eat it every day, It's still not enough to help with the constipation I get from the meds, Heck even that plus fibre hardly helps but it's better than nothing. not sure what else I can do to keep things moving. I drink a lot of tea and water, tons of salad, I take fibre...

Thank you.. Christina My anxiety is through the roof.  I think it was from eggs.  I really don't know because my eyes feel sore. Like I'm allergic to them.  I was defient in B12.   My heart is pounding and it won't stop.  Not sure what to do.   I don't have much support other than this forum.    Colleen

Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

I’m so glad they listened to your concerns!  I hope you get some answers from the MRI.

Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
