Am watching CBS and they had a PSA about celiac disease. Just said it was a serious autoimmune disorder and put up celiac.org for more info.

WOW!!! Very impressed. The Public Service Announcement suggested contact with celiac.org.

I could have sworn I just replied to this.....strange things are happening tonight in cyberspace......

Anyway, thanks for this Karen. I came back to report that just now on "Two and a Half Men", Alan offered his girlfriend a gluten-free pretzel. :P

I saw that in the ad for that show. Apparently, a lot of gluteny people around here buy the Glutino pretzels because they hold up to various dips and they think they are healthier.

Patti, maybe there is a spirit in your computer!

Must be gluten awareness night on CBS

It was very, very strong earlier but now subsiding a bit. But still feeling the effects. A major solar flare can disrupt lots of things.

This is an interactive photo, it will change. Young Jack might like this.

Back on Topic..... I have never seen a PSA on network prime time. This is a good thing. A GREAT thing. :D

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
