My 7yo was diagnosed earlier this year so I'm still learning about it all.

Hi, I'm another newbie. Been on here a month I think. My 9yr old daughter was diagnosed on 7th June, biopsy is on Tues but as her levels were very high, they're sure she'll test pos on biopsy. She has all the symptoms.

Mummyto3 I hope it all goes well for you on Tuesday. I also hope that the new diet is ok and she copes with the change well. Mine had trouble with that part of it but she's ok with it now for the most part. The bread is a bit of an issue for her still after she was used to the regular bread for so long!

Yes, the bread! lol That's probably going to be the hardest change. I'm constantly looking at labels and foods, I'm surprised I'm not dreaming of it! thanks for the good luck on Tues, not long now eek!

You can get a mix from Coles called Easy Baker which is gluten free and dairy free and you can get it in white or grain then make it yourself at home. I bought a bread maker but also make bread roll from it in the oven and now getting creative and make things with it like once I put olives through it and once I put stewed apples through it with cinnamon!

      Celiac panel was  IgA 106 tTG IgA AB <2 Gliadin Deamidated IgA Ab 4 Gliadin Deamidated IgG Ab 2 Endomysial IgA Antibody Negative  Tissue Transglutaminase IgG Ab Test not performed

      That's how I took it but I was confused because in your previous post you said of your biopsy, "and mine very much showed damage".  In the celiac antibody panel that was ordered, was there a test for total IGA included, aka, "Immunoglobulin A (IgA)"? This one checks for IGA deficiency. IGA deficiency can result in false negatives for the IGA celiac antibody tests such as the TTG-IGA and the DGP-IGA.

      The biopsy results were what said indicative of "weak or partially treated celiac disease".
